Clare Cherry Kinito
Founder Director and Head Teacher
Clare graduated from Trinity College and The Royal Irish Academy of Music with an honours Bachelor in Music Education, (B.Mus.Ed. Hons R.I.A.M.). She studied cello with Bill Butt during her time in the academy and previously with Úna Ní Chanainn and Moya O’Grady. From being part of the Dublin Youth Orchestras, the National Youth Orchestras of Ireland and various other orchestras around Dublin she has immensely enjoyed music from early childhood and would like to share that experience with young children today. She has over ten years experience teaching children music and a life time love and joy of being with children.

Alan Smale - Violin
Violinist
Alan Smale is founder of The Degani Ensemble and Leader of The Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra for the 2016/17 season. For 20 years till 2013 he was Leader of the RTE NSO, and 10 years prior to that Leader of the RTECO. He is a guest leader of the Ulster Orchestra and a frequent concerto soloist.

Ruby Ashley - Oboe
Oboist
Teacher at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and is the founder member of the Degani Ensemble. She has appeared as concerto soloist with both RTE orchestras and is a former principal oboe and cor anglais with the National Symphony Orchestra.
